Participatory reforestation program coordination

Client: Association Jiboiana

Expertise: Project Development & Management

Activities: Development and monitoring of the reforestation program by the Jiboiana association in partnership with the indigenous communities in Brazil (Huni Kuin and Guajajara People).

Outcomes: Plantation of 35 000 trees and the construction of 13 tree nurseries. Ongoing market study of sociobiodiversity sourced products.

Impact: Strengthening of alimentary and economic autonomy.

Socio-bioeconomy & Skincare Mission in the Brazilian Amazon

Setor: Health & Well-being / Socio-bioeconomy

Client: French dermatologist & natural cuisine chef – IENA

Expertise: Consulting, Immersive Mission

Activities: Organized and led a 10-day tailored itinerary along the Tapajós and Arapiuns rivers to explore socio-biodiversity and traditional knowledge on Amazonian ingredients used in skincare and wellness. Visits to Indigenous and riverine communities, meetings with local producers, forest guardians, and cultural leaders. Focus on ethical sourcing and protection of traditional knowledge, combined with gastronomy and plant-based treatments.

Closing Conference of Climate Week – at Instituto Terra (Sebastião Salgado), Brazil

Expertise: Dialogue Facilitation and intercultural knowledge exchange

Activities: Invited to deliver the closing keynote of Climate Week, as part of the global cultural diplomacy event La Nuit des Idées. The one-hour talk, Fault Lines in Ecological Restoration, addressed technical, social, economic, and political challenges to large-scale restoration in Brazil, drawing from scientific concepts and field experience with Indigenous and traditional communities.

Key Outcomes: Shared Amazonian field perspectives with 100–150 participants, including students, French institutions, and the public / Fostered dialogue on ecological restoration and climate justice between Brazil and France./ Highlighted Indigenous knowledge as essential for sustainable restoration strategies.

Immersive Missions for Jiboiana Reforestation Program in the Amazon​

Client / Partner: Jiboiana Association – Indigenous Territories in Acre

Expertise: Immersive Mission

Activities: Organized and coordinated 7 immersive missions for Jiboiana Association to remote Indigenous territories in the Brazilian Amazon, involving international volunteers supported by technical teams. This included full trip planning (logistics, itinerary, local partnerships) and on-site coordination of  reforestation work — including nursery construction, tree planting, and inter-community seed exchanges — with deep cultural immersion in partnership with Indigenous communities.

Key Outcomes: 7 missions completed across 5 Indigenous territories / 69 international volunteers engaged / Strengthened local capacity for sustainable forest management and cultural preservation

Drilling of a Well – Pinuya Huni Kuin Village

Activities: Provided technical and logistical coordination for drilling a well to ensure sustainable access to clean water in the Pinuya community.

European Parliamentarians Mission in Mato Grosso State

Sector: Policy & Decision-Maker Engagement

Client / Partner: European Members of Parliament and team

Expertise: Consulting, Immersive Mission

Activities: Prepared and coordinated a 14-day mission combining meetings in São Paulo and Brasília with a 10-day field visit to the Pantanal, Amazon, and Cerrado biomes. Meetings with MPs, ministries, NGOs, Indigenous and Quilombola communities, farmers, and industry representatives. Addressed issues such as deforestation, agribusiness, mining, pesticides, illegal timber trade, and human rights.

Key Outcomes: Improved political understanding of socio-environmental realities in Brazil./ Identified opportunities for socio-bioeconomic development./ Highlighted need for greater traceability of deforestation-linked commodities.

Cultural Exchange Between French Doctors and Amazonian Healers – Paris, France

Client/Partner: Côté Soins Formations, Entr’Actes, Association Jiboiana

Expertise: Intercultural Facilitation & Knowledge Exchange

Activities: Organized and facilitated an exchange in Paris between Amazonian Indigenous healers and around fifteen French doctors, exploring ancestral medicinal practices and their possible synergies with modern healthcare. The session fostered mutual learning and strengthened dialogue between healers from different parts of the world.

Key Outcomes: Promoted Indigenous Amazonian medicinal knowledge to a professional medical audience. / Fostered cross-cultural understanding in healthcare approaches./ Opened avenues for future collaborations in integrative medicine.

Mission to Pará’s Traditional Communities for German Members of Parliament

Activities:Coordinated and accompanied meetings with Indigenous leaders, riverine communities, NGOs, and civil society groups in the Tapajós region. Facilitated discussions on threats to human rights and the environment, culminating in a meeting at the Ministry of Indigenous Peoples in Brasília to explore cooperation opportunities.

Eyes on the Forest – Drone Monitoring in Huni Kuin Territory, Acre - Amazon RainForest

Client/Partner: Planet Earth Now, Association Jiboiana, Comissão Pró Índio do Acre (CPI-AC)

Expertise: Project Management

Activities:Supported the Huni Kuin people of Igarapé do Caucho (Acre, Brazil) with the purchase and delivery of a DJI AIR 2S drone, laptop, and accessories, along with training to operate the equipment. The initiative aimed to strengthen forest surveillance and improve reforestation monitoring over 12,000 hectares and 8 villages.

Key Outcomes: Strengthened local capacity to detect illegal incursions. / Improved reforestation monitoring through aerial imagery. / Provided technical training in drone operation and territorial monitoring.

Indigenous Leaders’ Tour in Europe

Expertise: Intercultural Facilitation

Activities:Organized and facilitated a one-month tour in Europe for Indigenous leaders, including meetings with parliamentarians, academics, journalists, and international organizations. Coordinated participation in strategic events, notably at UNESCO, to advocate for territorial recognition and the protection of traditional knowledge in global environmental and human rights debates.

Key Outcomes: Strengthened Indigenous advocacy in European institutional settings. / Expanded international networks for territorial and cultural protection.

European Parliamentarians Mission to the Heart of the Amazon Rainforest

Activities: Led an 11-member delegation including MEPs to meet Indigenous leaders, NGOs, scientists, and politicians in Brazil. Focused on human rights, deforestation, and environmental protection strategies, with on-site visits in the Amazon.

Key Outcomes: Strengthened advocacy for Indigenous rights and environmental protection at EU level./ Facilitated direct engagement between EU policymakers and Amazonian stakeholders.

Indigenous Leaders’ Tour in Europe

Activities: Coordinated a one-month European tour for Indigenous leaders, with strategic meetings in France, Belgium, and the UK, including the European Parliament, French Ministry of Ecology, Greenpeace, and Amnesty International. Managed logistics, institutional liaison, translation, and interpretation. Enabled participation in COY16, COP21, New York Times Climate Hub, and multiple media outlets.

Key Outcomes: Raised visibility of Indigenous struggles in European public and political arenas. / Established strategic partnerships with international organizations.
